Hi there,
If you want to delete your site, this page explains how to do it:
https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/If you go to Manage > Settings > General and scroll down to Site Tools you can choose to either delete your content (which will keep the basic structure of the theme and the domain name but delete everything else) or delete your site (including its domain name) permanently if you want to start afresh. You will receive an email about this. If you change your mind about deleting the site then you can reply to this email within 30 days to bring it back; otherwise it will be permanently deleted.
Make sure you’ve cancelled any purchases!Alternatively, if you just want to set your site to private and not delete it completely, you can by going to My Site > Manage > Settings, scrolling down to Privacy and changing the option to Private. Hi there, it looks like you might have an active upgrade on your WPcom site so before you can delete your site, you’ll need to remove that upgrade first. https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/#deleting-a-site-with-upgrades

The site will need to be downgraded to a free site before it can deleted. This may result in the loss of any content made with plugins.
