  I don’t know how to take down my site. I see where I can delete my account, which would accomplish that, but I may come back one day. Thanks.

  Hello there,

  You should contact your hosting provider if you wish to accomplish this since WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere.

  The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org
