Delete Site & Domain

  I’d like to delete my site and domain. Having trouble figuring it out. The dashboard tells me I can’t delete the site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi jjcompit,

  You may not be able to delete the site because it has a domain attached to it.

  I’ve tagged this topic for a Staff follow-up. They’ll be able to assist you further with this!

  Hi there,

  I can delete your domain for you, but before I do I will need you to specifically request it. You’ll also need to acknowledge that once the domain is gone, it cannot be retrieved. It will be returned to the registrar and will eventually released to the public at which point anyone may be able to register it.

  If you’re OK with that, let me know and I’ll take care of it!

  Hi,

  Yes can you please take care of that for me? I’d like to delete my site and domain. Can you also make sure that i won’t be charged in the future for any wordpress memberships or fees associated with the site?

  OK, you’re all set. Your domain and your WordPress.com premium have both been removed. You should now be able to follow the directions below to delete your blog if you so desire:
