'Delete Site' emails not being delivered. Really: 8 attempts, checked spam.

  The “Delete Site” email is not being sent. I’ve used 3 different user accounts, changed my email to different providers, and checked spam.

  I’ve attempted the flow about 8 times today. The confirmation email for deleting the site are not being delivered.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can help you with that.

  But first, please confirm that you understand that deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once the data is gone, it is gone for good. And once deleted, your WordPress.com URL (copilotlabs.wordpress.com) cannot be used in the future by you or anyone else.

  Thanks so much for letting us know that the export was successful!

  If you want to permanently delete your site, follow the guide below:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/

  Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert a site deletion for any reason and the site address cannot be reused.

  If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so that only you and people that you have invited can view the site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Hi there,

  I followed the guide. Please read the entire thread. The confirmation email to “delete site” is not being delivered.

  I’ve tried all the usual methods: I changed the email address 3 times. I checked my spam folder. I made about 8 attempts in total.

  Without the confirmation email, I cannot successfully complete the guide you linked to.

  Hi again,

  So sorry! I read the thread, but misunderstood your last note!

  The email is being sent the administrative email address for copilotlabs.wordpress.com. This is NOT the email address that is affiliated with your WordPress.com account, ashleycopilot. In your other posts on this thread, I don’t see the email address at which you’re expecting the deletion email.

  Have you looked at the email box (for the address ending in copilotlabs.com) for the deletion email? If not, please take a look. If you have, but you haven’t seen it, let me know and we can move forward from there.

  Hi,

  No worries!

  So, the ashleycopilot user is an administrator, so I assumed the emails would go to her as well as the other administrators.

  I have checked the email accounts associated with the follow admin users:

  adamwagner1
  ashleycopilot
  copilotlabs
  elichait

  Hi again,

  Okay, so I was wrong. Just circled-back with the person who controls the “elichait” email account, and his response was “Oh yea, I saw like a hundred of those emails yesterday. Just forgot to mention it.”

  So, I’m sorry. It’s all good, and your advice was good :-)
