"Delete Site" Option does not appear under Tools on site dashboard.

  When I go to delete the site (It was created a while ago and meant to be used as part of a university society but was never utilised) no option appears under tools on the dashboard.

  There have been no posts on the site and it is completely unused and would prefer that it was no longer linked to my account as I have no use for it.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  That does seem strange. Are you sure you are an administrator for the site? If you aren’t, the delete option won’t be available, but you could remove it from your dashboard by leaving the site like this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#leave-a-blog

  If you don’t have the option to delete the site AND you don’t have the option to leave the blog than something else is up. If that’s the situation please let me know and I’ll tag this thread to have a staff member investigate.

  That’s done the trick :). I must have only added myself as an author when I created the site so have been able to leave.
