Delete Site Please

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi There,

I have deleted / removed my domain from WordPress, in the hope I could delete my site. But the ‘Delete’ button for deleting site will not let me click.

Please can you let me know why this is happening, I no longer have any subscriptions with WordPress.

Once this site is completely deleted, I will re purchase my domain name (same as before) and start a new website.

If I somehow have any subscriptions, can you please delete these for me?

When can I re-purchase the domain name kadenjaycopywriting.com? Thank you.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

  • Hey there,

It looks like your site was still plugin-enabled which was preventing the site deletion. I have reverted your site for you to remove the plugin support and enable site deletion. That said, I recommend waiting to delete your site because of the domain.

If you wish to keep your domain we strongly recommend against deleting it for any reason, as it may be difficult or impossible to recover. In this case, since you did not refund your domain I was able to restore it to your account. I recommend creating your new site first and transferring your domain to the new site prior to canceling your existing site. We have a great help document for moving your domain here:

Once the domain is transferred from your existing site, you will be able to delete the site without issue.
