Delete the administrator who created the site
-
Hello everyone. I’ve made a site with a wordpress account that is not mine. It is an account that is used by several users and that I had to use a year ago for a subject at University. I did not notice the mistake so until late, so I have already changed the name of the user, email, password … Now I have the problem that my user is listed as the author of many blog articles on that blog of the school. I want to return the user to them, as they may need it. So in order not to lose the work already done on the new site I’ve created a new user and I made him a site administrator. However, I cannot eliminate the old administrator and assign authorship of everything written to the new one. I have found where to do it but I get an error message. I don’t know if it’s because the administrator I want to remove is the creator of the site. Do you know how I can do it?
Than you for your time -

Well I saw how to solve the problem and I just did it. But in the end, I don’t know how I gave again the condition of administrator to the old account. But it was just administration, not ownership. So I decided to remove this account of the administration and somehow, now I cannot access the blog. It is aquihaitema.wordpress.com

Sorry, that was me with the old account. I still can see my web. Sorry again, I’m getting crazy with this thing. Let me see if I can clarify myself

Ok, now it seems I have everything ok, I just lost my username name because it says it is already being used. But the rest is working properly, so it is good for me
