Delete the blog

hi~ i want to delete my blog
eeed.wordpress.comactually, i deleted the blog already. but the content of blog still on the Internet~ why???
please delete it~ -
You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.

If the blog is deleted, then the content is not on WordPress.com. Search engines will keep a cache of the blog, however. You can contact them one at a time and ask them to remove the cache if you want.

Actually, that blog is not deleted. You haven’t completed the deletion process.

The process includes a confirmation mail: check your mail – including your spam.
And are you aware of the fact that once you delete a blog you can never get it back? If you aren’t absolutely sure you’ll never want it back, turn it to private instead (Settings>Privacy).

but i cannot continue the deletion process
i cannot find any “setting” option,
and i only found “The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.” -
Then how do you know the content is still available, if you’re getting the blog deletion notice?
Settings is now in the left sidebar on the Dashboard, and Delete is still there. Once you’ve clicked it, check your email and look in your spam filter, as pana says.

dashboard > blog status, blog surfer, my comments, tag surfer, subscriptions, readomattic
profile > your profile
tools > tools
upgrades > giftsi cannot find “Setting” or “Delete”
….. because i can browse my deleted blog, and i was deleted the blog a month ago…… -
If you cannot find Settings, I’m not sure what you can do other than contact staff directly.

You’re welcome. I think the fact you see only non-blog, account-related options means you did your part right, but the staff have to intervene because something went wrong on their end.
