  I seem to have accidentally created an extra blog link called helengatenby can I please find out how to delete this?? thanks a million.

  also I just want to create another heading beside home and about called yoga and poems and bio and a few others and i cant figure out how to do that.

  these are probably simple i just cannot figure them out. your advice very much appreciated

  I want to recommend you rather just set this extra blog to private. It’s always handy to have an extra blog you can use to try out new themes or to keep a backup of your regular blog by importing posts into it from time to time. You can set it to private under Settings ->Reading: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  If you rather want to delete it, just note that the URL will then be gone forever – not even you will be able to get it back again (and please make sure you delete the right blog): http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If you create pages their titles (with links) will be automatically added to the menu, so if you just want static content (i.e. won’t change regularly) under those headings, simply go to Pages ->Add New in the dashboard.

  But let’s say you want all your posts about yoga to appear under the Yoga heading, then you need to create a category page instead, that will automatically update with new posts created in the category, Yoga. To do that you’ll need to create a custom menu. More information here:

  Hi I love the book lite theme but I am just wondering as it is a one column blog is there a possibility of having a selection of portfolio items on my home page please? i am avondaleretreat.com i dont want to change the theme but would be great to have this with pics for access.

That unfortunately means we’re unable to help you with that site in this forum, as this support forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
