Delete the cache
-
1) I had this site: https://bukkenebruse.wordpress.com
2) When i got old, I designed a new site, and deleted the old one.
3) But there seems to be a cache one place, where this file is accessible on internet: https://bukkenebruse.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/2016-04-06_rosenrod.pdfThis file violates the new privacy law (https://www.eugdpr.org/)! But I cannot access/find the cache. The site is gone, but the cahe is living.
Please help to delete my cache!!!
Thank you!

Hi there!
I’ve tried the link https://bukkenebruse.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/2016-04-06_rosenrod.pdf and it says file not found. You may try a different browser or go incognito mode via chrome or private browsing mode via firefox. Link below on how to do this
For Google Chrome:

Cheers!

The file https://bukkenebruse.files.wordpress.com/2016/04/2016-04-06_rosenrod.pdf is to be seen from any platform, with any browser, but the site is deleted!!!!
There must be a Cache! Do WordPress.com maintain a cache for files which are often accessed?

Hello there, I also get a 404 – File not found error when accessing that link so it might be cached in your browser as @joshron mentioned.
If you wish to remove the file from search engine caches before they crawl your site again to find it removed, you’ll need to contact each search engine directly. https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/
For Google, please see this link https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6349986?hl=en
