delete the "leave a comment" option within "pages"

  Hi! I’m Pablo,
  Within mi new blog (srcueva.wordpress.com) and just creating Pages, I cannot un-mark the “leave a comment” option.
  I can do it when I post a new entry. Below the edit box, there’s another box called “comments”, where I can select “Allow comments” or “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page”.
  What I want to do is de-select these options when I create a page, but the “comments” box doesn’t even exist…

  If it helps, my theme is Illustratr.

  Hi Pablo,

  Sometimes you have to enable that setting on your screen so that you can edit whether or not visitors to your site can leave comments. We have a help article which walks you through how to enable that setting right here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

  When you’re following these instructions, make sure you’re editing a page (not a post), and click the screen options tab. You should see the option to enable it there!

  Holly Molly! Many thanks amightywp,
  You were correct, mi “Discussion Module” was missing and all I had to do was to go to the top of my Page and activate that module through clicking “Screen Options” – “Opciones de Pantalla” in Spanish, if this could help any Spanish guy :)
