Please permanently delete this account. I don’t remember what I typed in for my password. No, I don’t want to reset it. This was just a test. Why is there no normal customer support. Why do I have to post on a forum to achieve this. It feels like we’re back in the 2000’s where forums were a thing and it’s not really that relevant in this decade. Blah. Thanks in advance. You don’t even have to reply. Or you can delete this post. Also, I clicked verify for the e-mail address, it sent me a link to put in an activation code and nothing else. Here is the link: https://signup.wordpress.com/activate/. But how does one even get an activation code. Why make it a separate process. Why make me go through a process with no code. Oh well. The only person who can delete a WordPress.com site is the site owner.
If the site is under a different account and you don’t remember the password, you can send yourself a one-time log in email from the WordPress.com log-in page. You do need to log out of this account first. The email will be sent to the email address on record for that account.
Once you are logged in with the correct account, you can delete your account and site following this guide. https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
