  Hi, please delete this account. I am aware that the support page just instructs me to remove all content, but I want my email address and username removed from your system. Please fully purge my account. I do not want to take the time to sign up for and change to a dummy email. Thanks.

  Hello,

  WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted, this is to keep anyone from registering the same username in the future.

  1. Go to My Account->Edit Profile, remove all of your data aside from the account name and an email address.

  2. Next, create a new email address to use for the account (one that you won’t use for anything else) and update the account to that email address.

  3. Finally, visit http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html and generate a password between 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it.

  I don’t really care if someone else registers the same name in the future; please delete my account.

  I should not have to sign up for a new email (and create a dummy account on some other provider that now has to spend resources on it for a time) to delete my account.

  Please just remove it entirely; these instructions really aren’t an acceptable way to ask users to “delete” an account.
