  My original site name is not allowing me in as author. In trying to get in it, I accidentally (foolishly) created a new name that I cannot seem to delete. Secondly, my old posts are in the correct blog name but it isn’t showing up on my site list.

  Hi there,

  If you wish to delete a free hosted WordPress.com account, you must be logged in under the same username. Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use it.
