    Hi there,

    To be able to delete that site we first need to downgrade it from the Business to the Free plan. This process will delete all of your site’s data so I need your confirmation before proceeding.

    As for the transfer of the domain rightangle.me, only the owner of that domain can perform that action. That domain is owned by user @rightanglesolutions. So, you need to contact them and ask them to transfer the domain to you.

    Do you know email ID of the domain owner.

    I have reversed the site, so you’ll be able to delete it.

    As for the domain, I’m afraid we can’t disclose the owner’s email address, even partially. If you need to recover access to that account and you have the transaction ID for the purchase of the domain, check out this page and fill out the Account Recovery form:

    Thank you. I am trying to delete now getting message “You have active paid upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.” when I go to my upgrades it showing “free” and there is no cancelation of upgrades.

    Thanks @sdarana. Your account does not have upgrades, but the other user on the site does.

    Can you log in as that user? Or, have them log in? They can ask us for help if needed.

    Also, please be mindful that cancelling a domain does not “free it up” for use elsewhere. It will go into redemption instead. It’d be a bit like cancelling your phone number then trying to get the same number through a new service. You’d want to transfer it. So if you do intend to reuse the domain, don’t cancel it. Get in touch (through the correct account) and let us know what you’re trying to do, and we’ll help you get it done safely.

    I have only one account in WP Admin and that is my ID, it is an Administrator Account.

    Our company have new website from last couple of years. We noticed WP hosting site is taking our SEO rankings and misleading our clients and users. We wanted to take it down.

    Currently I am the only user active and I need to bring down the site. Redirect my domain if possible to our new site.

    Currently I am the only user active and I need to bring down the site. Redirect my domain if possible to our new site.

    Domains on WordPress.com are owned by the individuals that set them up, and not by companies or other organizations. Domain registrations are tightly regulated by ICANN and we cannot transfer ownership to another individual unless they have specifically given permission.

    I understand that you are the only admin on rightangle.me, but this does not automatically make you the domain owner in this case. For that reason I will need to ask that Omar to log in to their account and contact us to assist in transferring the domain to you. They can email us at help[@]wordpress[.]com and we can assist them from that point.
