Delete website

    Hello, I deleted my website within the last hour, but I did not know I was supposed to delete the content first in order to completely delete the website. Now, when I search up my name and city, the website still shows up on google’s results. How can I get rid of the website completely even though I have already deleted it on word press? Thanks.

    Hey there,

    Deleting your blog does not immediately remove it from search results.

    It takes about 4-6 weeks for search engines such as Google to clear the cache of deleted indexed content. Viewers should get a 404 error when they visit the site since you deleted the content, but they will still be able to find the URL links to the site for several weeks.

    We have no control over removing the search engine results, but you can contact Google if you want it expedited.
