I recently have discovered that the website I created years ago and that I deleted and cancel it still online. I can not follow the instructions you wil now to delete it because under the settings task there is no DELETE SITE option.

Please let me know how to proceed thanks

What is the URL of the wordpress.COM hosted site in question?
Exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered it?

    re: deleting sites

All sites are independent. What you do on one or to one has no impact on any other site. To delete a WordPress.COM hosted site you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ note the alternatives provided there.

Prior to deletion warnings are issued. Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

    https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com

*Replace “NAME_OF_BLOG” with the actual name of the blog in the URL above.

If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

If the login information has been lost go to
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-password

If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.

Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

    Hi there,

Our records don’t show any attempt to ever delete that site in the past. What our records do show is that two years ago you filed a chargeback against us for a renewal payment on that site, and as a result your site has been locked pending payment of the chargeback fee. This lock prevents you from doing anything with the site, including deleting it.

    Chargebacks & Disputes

I also see that you were in contact with us via email about that two years ago where all this was explained to you. You will not be able to delete or otherwise use the site unless you pay the chargeback fee.

    Hi there,

Thanks a lot, so what was explained to me 2 years ago? That I could not cancel the account unless I paid the chargeback fee?

What happen if I don´t want to cover that? As this page was manage by me but the person who order it and paid it is someone else.

Could you please let me know the options I have here?

    Thanks

@wilstudio are you the same person as bereichel? We can only communicate with the site owner about this issue, so please post here using the correct username if you need any more help, but I have already given the answer above, as had a member of our billing department two years ago via email.

There is no other info to give. As I said above, the site is locked due to the chargeback that was filed against us, and the only way to unlock it is by paying the chargeback fee.
