delete website
-
Some years ago I created a blog and currently I don’t have access to that account nor the email that I use to create that website.
How can I delete that account?
-
Hi –
The only way to achieve this would be through the account recovery form:
We aren’t able to do anything until proof of ownership on the account is provided to us.
-
If I don’t have any of these:
Do you have a transaction ID?
Do you have an activation URL or key?
Do you have two factor authentication codes? How can I prove it.
I don’t want to share the url here.

If you have the activation URL you can paste it in the following Account Recovery form and send it to us:

You can retrieve the transaction ID from your card or bank statement. Here’s how to do it:

I am having the same problem as danielosousa for accessing and deleting my account.
I had created my site almost 10 years ago and I do not have a transaction ID for it was a free blog account I had made or the email address – all I have is the username.I do have a photo of myself with my name on the blog in the about me section. I am a physician now and my name and photo come up freely in search engines. Would I be able to submit documentation (like a drivers license) with my name and photo to WordPress to compare and confirm with the blog as an alternative way to validate that the account is mine and to have it removed?

Hi @oranges88,
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the account was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

Hi danielosousa,
even if that old account refers to all my social accounts and my picture.
That’s correct — we can only accept information listed on the Account Recovery form as proof of ownership (not profile photos or links to social media accounts). Without that information, we will be unable to help you recover the account for security reasons.
