Delete widgets

  I am trying to delete the recent posts, archives, at. and meta list on the right side of my homepage. How do I do this?

  Go here > Appearance > Widgets and select the widgets of your choice, open them, click “save” and then “close”. If you do not any widgets to display at all then place an empty text widget in the sidebar, open it click “save” and then “close”. As your are working with Twenty Eleven and there is no sidebar on single posts in Twenty Eleven and I think you will benefit from reading this article on how the Twenty Eleven theme is designed.
