Delete widgets from sidebar

  The widgets I removed from my side bars still appear on my site. But when I return to the Widget page to edit the sidebars there is no content in the sidebar boxes.

  Go to your dashboard and then to widges then drag the any widgets to text box to edit or delete it.

  I did go to dashboard then to widgets, but there is no content in the text box to drag out. The sidebar boxes are empty.
