Add topic to favorites
I’ve got a WordPress page that I can’t delete somehow. When I click on ‘my website’ it says that I don’t have one. But the website I created is still online. Is it possible to delete it?

I also wonder how my website isn’t connected to my account anymore

To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

Alternatively, to change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings

I see another username account here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/maaike and blog URL appears to have been registered under it.

Log out of the account you are in now. Clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then log in under the other username account and delete the site.

The bottom line is you have to login under the exact same username account that registered the blog to delete it.

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of https://maaaaike.wordpress.com/.

So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the https://maaaaike.wordpress.com/ dashboard and delete the site.
