Delete WordPress Account?

  I have already deleted my blog but I would like to delete the WordPress account, how can I do that? I read their site that said accounts cannot be deleted, I do not believe that. I need the account completely deleted from the site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi hoffjoshman,
  I believe you are right about being able to delete the blog but not the account. From what I have read, if you want to leave wordpress.com you can just leave your account inactive.

  That is correct. You cannot delete the account.
