Delete wordpress account

  Please can you give me specific instructions on how to delete absolutely all of my wordpress account and its links to any external URLs – thanks.

  I’m sorry to hear you want to leave WordPress.com! Is there anything you may need help with before you go? WordPress.com accounts are permanent, but you can easily delete your blog. You can read more about this here:

  If you are trying to unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:

  Just followed a few of the steps there (thank you!) and was able to change my publicly visible name. I wanted to change the account name though but unfortunately, this tool seems to be unavailable – will it be coming back any time soon??
