Delete wordpress.com website account and change email in friend’s blog on wordpress.com

  I have two issues. 1. Unintentionally started a web site account i want to delete. 2. I am trying to change my email associated with a friend’s blog though wordpress.com.

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Do you mean you want to delete the WordPress.com account you were logged in to when you posted this? You can follow the instructions here to close your account: https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/

  I am trying to change my email associated with a friend’s blog though wordpress.com.

  Can you tell me more about this? Are you a user (administrator, editor, etc.) on a friend’s blog which is hosted on WordPress.com?

  In general, if you have access to the other account you’re referring to, you can follow the instructions here to change the email address on the account: https://wordpress.com/support/email-address/

  However, note that if you already used your email address on this account, you won’t be able to use this email address on the other account again. This is because all WordPress.com accounts must have a unique email address. The same email address can’t be used on two accounts.

  Also, deleting this account will not free up this email address for use on another account. You’ll need to wait 30 days for the deleted account’s information to be purged before you can reuse this email address on another account.
