Delete WordPress Domain

  Hey all,
  I have toyed with a few free wordpress domains before settling on the one I have used to set up my website. Is there a way to delete the unused wordpress.com domains in case somebody else would like to use them!?

  Deleting them will not free them up for others, but will permanently remove them from circulation: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  I’d suggest keeping one to use as a test blog, and another one you can use for a backup to your main blog. Set both to private so people won’t be able to view them: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  If there are still others, leave them online and visible with a post on the front page saying that they are available for transfer and that interested users should request transfer by leaving a comment. Enable comments and comment moderation so you’ll receive an email if someone responds. You’ll then be able to transfer the URL to them using the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
