  I want to renew my domain travelstoriesfromyworld.com only (it expires on December 30, 2014) and not the WordPress.com Premium extension I had purchased, since I’ve picked another theme wich is free. When I click on “renew now”, it automatically requests a 99 $ payment, but I only want to purchase the domain (name and mapping) which is less expensive. How can I do that ?

  Hi mariakofou,

  You’ll have to unbundle your purchases by going to Store > My Upgrades, and clicking on the Cancel link for your WordPress.com premium upgrade.

  This will cause the individual products to appear in your account, and you’ll be able to choose to renew just the domain.
