Delete WordPress website and WordPress Account

  Hi – I need assistance deleting a WordPress website and Account that is no longer in use.

  Also, when I attempt to Delete the site, I am presented with the following message:

  “To delete this site, you’ll need to contact our support team. Deletion can not be undone, and will remove all content, contributors, domains, themes and upgrades from this site.”

  …and then directs me to post in the community forum.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the site, https://psegenergysolutions.wpcomstaging.com/?

  That site used to be on our Business Plan, using plugins. Before you can delete the site, we need to properly downgrade it back to the personal plan.

  I know you plan to delete it, but this process will remove all content that was added to the site after you installed plugin, so we do need your explicit confirmation before we can proceed with the downgrade process.

  Once the site has been downgraded, you’ll be able to close your account, which will also delete the site.
