I need to recover a deleted account, I fill out the account recovery form and it tells me to use the password reset, that does not work it gives me a 405 error

What is the username on the account? Or the site URL?

Does using a different browser for the password reset work?

Just to confirm — do you want to recover the WordPress.com account connected to that email address.

Or do you need to recover the account you used to login to the site directly at http://www.sweetstitchery.com/wp-admin?

Hi there,

When you deleted the account we sent you an email to confirm this. Please reply to that email to reverse the account deletion.

If you did not receive that email, let me know, but please note we can only reverse an account closure for 30 days, and only if the request comes from the email address that was connected to the closed account. We cannot re-open an account if requested by another account or from another email address.

I’ve replied to the email confirming the deletion asking for the account to be re-opened

Still cannot log on as it says the account is closed. How long does it usually take to reopen an account?

The requests get answered in the order that they reach us. The time frame varies depending on how many there are.
