  Hi,

  I created a blog using my personal email address (garageleagueblog.wordpress.com). I wanted to link a twitter account to that page that uses a different email address. I couldn’t do that. So I deleted the blog to create a new website with the revised email address. The problem is that the domain name (garageleagueblog.wordpress.com) is inactive. How can I reactivate that domain with a different user email address?

  Blog deletion is a permanent and irreversible act. Deleting a site requires ignoring several warnings that the URL cannot be registered again by you or anyone else. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
