Deleted account to set up a WordPress.org account and having issues

    I deleted my WordPress.com account and am attempting to start a new WordPress.org account. I am using my old domain (www.precisionpaintingtbay.ca) which is through go daddy and a new host (hostgator) and did a one click word press install. I changed the DNS already on go daddy but the link hostgator sends me still directs me to my old WordPress.com site instead of the new WordPress.org site.

    Hi @precisionpaintingtbay, that’s pretty normal. It takes your computer (and the whole internet, really) a little while to forget the domain’s old location, clear the cache, and look for it at the new one.

    I’d give it about 6-24 hours, and if it’s still not working, contact your ISP as they may have settings that’s keeping the cache longer than usual. Hoping that helps!
