Deleted Admin Access
-
Hello! I accidentally deleted myself as an admin for https://willowbookreviews.wordpress.com/ . Now I can’t log in (and my contributor doesn’t have the option to invite me back?) Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I don’t see any evidence that the username, sarahrivers, was ever a user on that site. The site logs also don’t indicate that any user was recently removed from that site. It isn’t possible to remove the account that is the owner of a site.
If you used a different username account to create that site you will need to log out of this account, and back in as the correct username to access the site.
Only an existing admin on the site has the ability to add other users and we cannot add any users unless the account that owns the site requests it.

Whoops. I figured out the problem. I was using the same email address but different usernames. I transferred ownership and changed the other account to ‘inactiveplsdelete’ if you can delete that account that would be great. Thanks!

WordPress.com accounts can’t be deleted, but if you’re sure you don’t want to access that account again, you can change its email address to a throwaway address and lock it up with a long, random password. That will effectively deactivate it.
