Hi I’m trying to transfer a wordpress domain name to another account, but it deleted the site and I’m unable to use the same name again. Is there a way I’m able to get it back? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

All wordpress.com sites are on underlying .wordpress.com sub-domains as wordpress.com is the top level domain.
Be aware that deleting a .wordprress sub-domain URL is intended to be a permanent act and that is why warnings are given that one has to ignore to delete a site.
Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

Know that it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
