Deleted blog and name

  Hi,

  If a blog is deleted and I would like to use that blogname, how do I do? Is that even possible?

  No, if a blog is deleted, that URL is gone forever (or until wordpress makes a change in their policy).

  Thanks! Is there also a policy about taking over an excisting blog, ie to change the admin and password? If that’s possible, do I have to be extra careful about something?

  You can’t “take over” an existing blog – someone can transfer a blog to you but you can’t take one.

  Some of the “empty” blogs have been set up so they can have an API number for Akismet (anti-spam Plug-in) for their WordPress.ORG install.
