Deleted blog by mistake!

  Dear WordPress Team,

  I have deleted my new site by mistake (still not constructed) and tried creating another one, however the name was shown ‘unavailable’.

  How long does it need after deletion to be available again?

  Have you confirmed the blog deletion by clicking on the email confirmation link? Hopefully not.

  If you have confirmed the deletion then the blog address cannot be recycled. It cannot be used by anybody else :(

  It seems I did. But the thing is, I do not need the standard name.wordpress.com – I want to purchase a name.com one, and that I did not have before.

  I see. Thanks for clarifying.

  Your content is anyway gone but you can create a new blog, say whatevername.wordpress.com , buy the domain name.com and set name.com as primary domain by following the instructions in this support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#setting-the-primary-domain
