deleted blog, created new one, now link to username in posts won’t work.

    Created a new blog after deleting first one because of title problems and now when we post with the new blog it shows up on the wordpress search pages but our name link will not work. When it is clicked it displays a page that says this blog has been deleted. Is there any way to change this? We tried to change username, email, etc to transfer blog, but wp won’t let us use the same same name again. We have a satisfying blog, but not the link with the name.

    You have to go to users > personal settings and change the “website” link near the bottom to the link for the new blog. Note that this will only affect comments from now on. Older comments will still have the old address tied to your username.

    Also toward the top of that page, set your “primary blog” to your new blog.
