Deleted blog in “Your blogs:”?

  Hey everyone, I just deleted a blog and it’s still being listed in the Your Blogs: section. What do I do?

  If it’s still there, send in a feedback with specifics and point this out to staff. It occurs on occasion.

  my user name is bhanuparashar, i tried deleting 3 blogs out of my kitty but unfortunately after completing the process where i was told that i had to click on the link being sent to my email id, nothing came into my inbox and hence my blogs ( which i opted to delete ) still exist.
  How long will it take for the wordpress to send me those links? is there anyway i can delete my blog without these links? Will deleting the blog mean deleting the blog url e.g. abcd.wordpress.com ? if no. then can i use the same link later on whenever i decide to get back with blogging on that url?

  bhanuca, I wanted to let you know that if you delete your blog, the entire blog and its URL gets deleted. The main point though is that the URL can never be used again. Example: If you have blog abcd.wordpress.com and you delete it, then abcd.wordpress.com can never be used, registered or re-registered again. Unlike Blogger, WordPress does not recycle blog names/urls so if you delete it, it’s gone for good and can’t be used again.
