Deleted blog name

  Hello,

  I deleted my blog completely, I understand that it cannot be recovered. But in how long time the blog name (blogname.wordpress.com) will be available? In fact I deleted to give the blog name to somebody else, and currently he is not able to register it, seems it is not available though I deleted the blog an hour or so ago.

  Sorry but it will never be available to anyone ever again, blog names are not recycled at WordPress.COM

  Got it, sad! For information, is it possible to transfer a blog to another WP account?

  Yes – transferring a blog is fairly easy
