deleted blog still appears on google
-
hi all, i remember deleting my old high-school blog but it seems to still appear on google search.
only recently i found out that i should have put it to private before deleting it but i wasn’t thinking too much then and now i regret it.
what should i do?
the blog that i want to remove forever: myknle.wordpress.com
-
This site has not been deleted https://myknle.wordpress.com/
We cannot do this for you. To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/Alternatively, to change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or indexed content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663691?hl=en

Thank you timethief. To be honest, I did not log in to this account until recently because i found out that this blog has not been deleted. so i logged in to delete it but it seems that there was no blog listed in the account. does this mean my account has been hacked?
please advise because i want to create a fresh new blog and not have my old blog lingering around.
thank you.

You need to log in with the account you used to create the blog – see below for help if you forgot

hi auxclass, i am logged in and is using the account to comment here. I went to the dashboard and i also realized that i do not have the usual admin settings like my new wordpress blog does which is why i now suspect that my account is hacked. As in arielledaz account has been hacked and lost of admin access. I was the only one in the account and did not invite anyone else to be a writer etc for my old blog.

What about this account and user name?
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/myknle
Account: myknle
the odds that your account was “hacked” is low here – what passes as “hacked” is someone getting the login password – if you don’t have the usual admin settings then you are probably not an Admin.
It looks like you might have set up an account for the wayward blog about a year after this account was set up
I will flag this for the staff – but I would try the reset password or account recovery for the lost blog
-
Hi auxclass, thank you so much. I will opt for the account recovery and since I could not identify the email, i have no access to the transaction ID, activation URL or key, and the two factor authentication codes. So now I have to think of how to proof that I am the owner.
any other ideas?
Thank you so much.

Do you still have your old email account from 6 years ago?
The password reset I think just takes the user name to make work – also I left a comment on the site and it is awaiting moderation meaning an email was sent to the email address of record
There should be a “I don;t have much info” box on the account recover form – see if you can find that – or maybe the staff can pass you to the account recovery team without the form
-
i actually cannot recall the email, which is why i will opt for account recovery which also needs me to have the activation URL or key and two factor authentication codes which i dont have…so im so lost. i can prove it through the extra details as written below:
“I started this account as a backup for my blogspot account. To prove that this account belongs to me, I will link the original blogspot posts URLs to show you that the posts in this WordPress account and my Blogger account are the same.

Thank you so much. Hope to hear from you soon.”
However, it is still impossible for me to proceed without the activation URL or key and two factor authentication codes.
