Deleted Blogs Show up in "My Blogs."
-
My Blogs section of WordPress.com has two blogs. One was deleted and other shows up with wrong post count.
blog.sudhirkhanger.com with name “The Superfluous Man” is my current blog. It shows 58 posts instead of 79 that are actually in my self-hosted WordPress.org.
Another old blog “Sudhir Khanger” has shown up in “My Blogs” with same domain name which is suppose to be deleted. This has been a consistent problem with WordPress.com. Please see the previous tickets.

Note that the data in My Blogs takes days to update.
Provided you post the URLs of self hosted blogs you want deleted from your account into a forum thread like this one, Staff can do this for you. Please do that now as I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

Thanks.
Both blogs are hosted at domain blog.sudhirkhanger.com.
The blog named “The Superfluous Man” has wrong post count which needs to be fixed.
The blog named “Sudhir Khanger” is wrong and needs to be deleted.

http://blog.sudhirkhanger.com/ is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We provide support ONLY for free hosted WordPress.com blogs and that’s not one of them. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different log-ins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Is this a JetPack issue? If so then have you looked for an answer to your question here? http://jetpack.me/support/
Also note that the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
If you can’t find help at either one then you can file a jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

I know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. I use Jetpack for various things that require WordPress.com. WordPress.com lists self-hosted WordPress.org blogs that I have connected to it using Jetpack. I have had the same problems before. Please see the original post for the listed threads. These same problems were happily fixed by WordPress.com. If you think it is not a WordPress.com problem, although previously fixed by WordPress.com, I will go ahead and open a tickect with Jetpack. Thanks.

Hi,
I have removed sudhirkhanger.com from your account.
Regarding blog.sudhirkhanger.com, the number of posts listed for Jetpack-enabled sites on http://wordpress.com/my-blogs/ is the number of posts published while Jetpack was activated and connected.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else. Have a great weekend!

Thank you timethief and kraftbj.
I am wondering why these old deleted blogs keep showing up in My Blogs section.
-
At this point, they shoudn’t reappear unless the site reconnected via Jetpack to your WordPress.com account.
