Deleted comments won’t go from ‘Latest Comments’ box

  Hi

  This is a problem I’ve not come across before;

  I marked two silly comments as spam but they are still showing up in the ‘Latest Comments’ box. I then deleted all spam comments and the post the comments linked to. The supposed names of the commenters are still in the Latest Comments box.

  Any ideas on why this is happening and how to remove them?

  I read that Blogspot blogs were relentlessly attacked by spammers in 2007. Just hoping this isn’t starting at WordPress.

  Oops, as I typed the comments seem to have gone from my blog. :)
