Deleted customizations after deleting pages

  Hi
  Every time I delete a few pages on my site, all the work I did is deleted and the site looks weird, the front page is changing to another page, the background disappeared.. Can you please help me fix this? it happened 3 times already and every time I had to start all over again. When a restore the pages it doesn’t help.
