deleted date in oxygen theme, now have weird space in slider

  Hi,

  I followed the directions on how to delete the date from posts in the Oxygen theme. Great! Now, on my slider, I have this small white space left where the date used to be. How do I get rid of it?

  I’m not good with CSS, so exact code is helpful.
