deleted dns txt record
-
Hello!
I accidentally replaced my dns record “TXT” with a new TXT record. Now my contact form will no longer send me an email at gmail, only at Titan Mail (the mail referenced in the TXT record that replaced the original).
How can I get back the original TXT record? Will that allow my contact form to send me mail at Gmail again?
By the way my site isn’t live yet. Not sure if that’s a problem for troubleshooting…
Thanks

Hi Josh, looks like you’re missing an SFP record. You can see the default record here, but you’ll likely want to add any other senders to the list since you can only have one SPF record for your site.
So for example, if you’re only sending mail from our servers (like from your form) you would need this:v=spf1 include:_spf.wpcloud.com ~allTo be able to send mail from Titan AND our servers, include both sending services in the SPF record:
v=spf1 include:spf.titan.emailinclude:_spf.wpcloud.com ~allIf you send from your domain using other services, be sure to include them as well. Then save your changes, then give it a bit of time to propagate. If you have any questions, let us know. Cheers!
