Deleted Domain

  I did not know deleting a blog meant not being able to reuse the same domain again!!

  Is there any way to change this new blog I created to my previous one, which was duihootv.wordpress.com?

  :(

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  And if it can’t be recovered, can the domain eventually expire?

  Hi duihootv,

  Sadly deleting a blog is a permanent effect as deleted blog URLs here are not recycled at all. That is why 3 warnings are given and a verification link in an email that must be clicked is also sent in order to complete the deletion. More information can be found at these links:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another blog with a similar name.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  or you can register a domain with a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is. More on that can be found at these links:
