Deleted domain

  Hi there,

  I recently bought the domain jacobwentz.com but then deleted my subscription, as I would like to host my WordPress site on a separate hosting site. When will that domain be released for use on the hosting site?

  Any information is appreciated!

  Hi there!

  It’s never a good idea to cancel a domain if you plan on using it – we recommend transferring it instead.
  The new domains usually take around 5 days to be released, however, we have no control over this process.
  If you need to use your domain sooner than that, we can send you a manual payment and recover it for you. After that, you’ll be able to map the domain to a site hosted elsewhere (to transfer it away, you’ll need to wait 60 days since the domain registration).
