Deleted Domain!

  Hi there

  I changed my domain from thestableoyster.wordpress.com to roundlearning.org.

  Using ‘manage’ and ‘domains’ I stupidly changed both the host and the domain to the new address. I wanted my media links to have ’roundlearning.org’ in the URL and I sought live help, made the change, and then after realised that none of my old links work.

  I know you give loads of warnings about this but I can see on other threads that you are sometimes about to recover the deleted domains. I am happy to buy it back! But would like to retrieve it if at all possible. I only deleted it a few days ago.

  Looks like you’ve already got the domain back, Sarah! If you need more help on this, let us know.

  We can’t change the media storage URLs for files kept here on our servers, because they’ll be served up by our CDN for speed & optimization. But if you want to keep your links pointing to your domain rather than to our files, you can link to attachment pages rather than media files if you’d like.

  Supernova, thank you for replying so quickly!

  Unfortunately I haven’t got the domain back. I have roundlearning.org but I want to reconnect thestableoyster.wordpress.com so that links from here still work. Will this be possible please?
