Deleted Domain Name

    Hi,

    I think I have completely messed up :( but I just wanted to check before I lost all hope!

    I wanted to move over to wordpress.org and I got a refund on my wordpress.com site however, I then realised my domain was locked because it had recently been updated I then tried to re direct it, or map it (I’m not very technical) but couldnt work out how to do it I then some how eneded up deleting it and now it says my domain is ‘parked’

    Is my domain name gone forever? or is there anyway of getting it back on my wordpress.com site and can I redirect to a .org site? I really love the name and I’m gutted I did this.

    Don’t worry, we’ll try and help you get this sorted :) I can see you transferred whearsrebekah.com to WordPress.com but cancelled the domain yesterday — this means the domain is parked here with us.

    We can restore whearsrebekah.com back to whearsrebekah.wordpress.com. The domain hasn’t been refunded yet so you won’t need to pay extra.

    It won’t be possible to transfer the domain away from WordPress.com for 60 days (after the transfer in date). This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) so we are unable to waive it. But the good is, the domain can be pointed to your new host by changing the name servers (once it has been restored):

    Then transferred away from WordPress.com after the 60 day lock has passed.

    If you are happy to proceed, please let me know and I can take care of that for you.

    If I do this will I still be refunded for my account? As I cancelled my premium plan to move over so I am currently in the process of getting a part refund which I’m pretty sure didn’t include the domain anyway.

    I have restored the domain back to your account. Also, I see that you have already received a refund for your Premium plan purchase.

    Until the 60-day domain transfer lock is over, you can point your domain to any host you like by following these instructions:
