Deleted Domain Name Mapping – now receiving error
-
I purchased an upgraded wordpress.com account and mapped my domain name. Then I decided I wanted to use wordpress.org, so I deleted my account with wordpress.com. I am hosted through Bluehost, and downloaded wordpress.org. When I try to go to my domain or admin page, I receive the error message:
‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’
The error provides me a link to wordpress.com. When I sign in…I can’t do anything because my account was deleted. Does anyone know how I fix this so I can use wordpress.org?

Hi, your site points to Bluehost for me. It sounds like your system just needs time to flush out the old settings and see the site at its new address. That can take a few hours to a few days, but sometimes just turning the computer off for 2 minutes and turning it back on again will help. If it doesn’t and it’s already been a few days, get in touch with your internet provider.
