Deleted Domian Change to Go Daddy

  Requested refund for WordPress Value Bundle last night in the hopes that I would then be able to purchase my .com domain at Go Daddy, however Go Daddy is saying that the domain is still unavailable. Is there any way I can make this work?

  You’re going to have to contact staff via email: Support at WordPress dot com and ask them to sort it out.

  Thanks. I was just hoping to get this sorted today, since Support is closed until tomorrow due to their meeting. Is there anything that might resolve this in the meantime?

  Previous responses by the staff indicate that the time it takes to return a domain name to the wild where it can be registered again is out of their control and at the discretion of the company that handles the domain names. Can take a while.

  That is why most recommend that the domain name be kept with the original registrar and the name servers pointed to the new host.
