Deleted draft reappears with different browser (Twenty Fourteen theme)

Today I wanted to add a new post to my blog mad ewith the Twenty Fourteen theme using Google Chrome. After not succeeding to add an image to this post – after uploading a new image to the media library the screen “frooze”- I closed the browser, restarted my computer and reopened Google Chrome for my blog http://digital1418.wordpress.com. I started editing again the draft which appeared to be empty; it seemed I had lost all text and the tags I had added. I closed WP and Google Chrome, and I started using Mozilla Firefox. I opened WP, I opened the draft and to my great surprise I found my draft back with the text I had considered lost! I could finish the draft and publish my post.
To me it seems the new editor has some problems with Google Chrome. The tool to add media to a post became very slow. With Firefox I could choose an image and put it into the post as usually. I suppose I have been lucky to retrieve my draft, but it seems important to report on the apparent disappearance of a draft using Chrome. What is the matter with removing the contents of a draft and saving the result when you find it back unchanged in another browser? Thanks in advance for any suggestions concerning the possible cause, and good luck in making it work again smoothly!

Thanks for your quick reaction! What happened was probably due to the changes in the editor, but it did not happen because of pasting any text from Word. I’ll be patient, also because I did find a way out by using another browser.

I wanted to check in with you to see if all was working well now. There were some growing pains when we installed our new image editor. Can you please let me know if things are going smoother for you now? I see that you posted on March 29th, so my hopes are high :) Please let me know!

Since March 25 I have been able to create and publish three new posts, but I did this using Firefox as a browser. Today I tried to reproduce the problem in Chrome, and luckilyI could create a draft, save the contents, change it, and finally delete it. Things seems to work normal now. Thanks for all efforts behind the screens!
